Let the rally commence!

We start last because we asked to keep the signage already on Fang, número 40. Several advantages..we are all alone and Chuck cannot be lured into tangling with the hot rods from Yakima.
Lesson one- never, and I do mean never, follow another rally car. For sure they are lost. Better to fail alone. At best we might remember where we went wrong. We have tested and proved this maxim thrice in our two day career.
Lesson two- bring water, Tums and snacks. Lunch will be at gas stations.
Tip-for navigators....Keep  blinders handy to wear during the startling laps around race tracks. Quite the helpless feeling skidding about in a 75 year old brick.
I am drinking now. More later.
